Self-concious Levi who feels he’s not worth it to make a deeper relationship with the so-called perfect Erwin Smith.
Levi tells Erwin that he is short than any average men on his age, also short-tempered, has a very bad mouth who talks nothing but swearing words every time, obviously he doesn’t know how to please someone with that kind of attitude, he doesn’t look handsome either especially since he has those dark circles under his eyes that apparently become permanent due to lack of sleep every day; he is nothing alike like Erwin who is a (almost) perfect human being who has everything people wish for.
Levi just tells Erwin everything about his flaws and why Erwin shouldn’t date him in the first place and tell him to go find a suitable person other than him.
But instead Erwin just smiles, embraces the short man and says, “But even so I still choose you, because you can do a thing that no other people can: you complete me, make me a whole. Isn’t that enough reason for me to love you?”
